The 2015 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is happening now in Las Vegas, January 6th – 9th, and a few new exciting innovations in the personal care category are being featured.

Kolibree is showing off its electric toothbrush, which is also commercially available, unlike most products at the show. It’s the only connected electric toothbrush on the market that gives you real-time feedback, using 3D sensors, a built-in accelerometer, gyrometer and magnetometer.

What does all this mean? Kolibree’s proprietary technology knows whether you’ve effectively reached every zone of your mouth and statistically what areas you have missed. After brushing, feedback on how well you’ve brushed goes directly to your smartphone via Bluetooth and the data is stored in an individual profile.

The Kolibree toothbrush can even be connected to apps, one of which inspires kids to brush. Priced at $199 retail, it will start shipping in the U.S. this month and in Europe later in Q1 2015.

Here’s more from the CES Show – including Panasonic’s Electric Shaver, and its hair removal systems for women.
